ACCOMMODATION

For the participants of the 6th EuroMed Conference 2013, blocked bookings have been made at the hotels mentioned below. Additionally, special prices have been negotiated with all the hotels. As only limited rooms are available at the hotels and as unused rooms will be released on July 31, 2013, it is highly recommended to book accommodation as soon as possible.

For hotel reservations, please contact directly the hotel in which you wish to stay. In case of cancellation, the hotel might charge you a fee, as stated in their general terms and conditions. 

Each hotel has its own reservation form (see the link under each hotel picture). All prices include accommodation, breakfast and all taxes.

As some of the 6^th EuroMed Conference activities will take place in Palácio Estoril Hotel we booked/reserved 100 rooms in this hotel. Built in 1930, the Hotel retains many of the characteristics of that period. It has been remodeled over the years, but without losing its combination of luxury and sophistication.

During the Second World War, due to Portugal’s neutrality, the Palácio Hotel was the chosen home of numerous members of European royalty and also accommodated British and German spies, who could often be found in its bar. Later, these stories of intrigue and espionage inspired famous novelists and filmmakers and the Hotel served as the set for the James Bond movie “On Her Majesty's Secret Service”.
